# The Blacklist S1 Episode 6 (Gina Zanetakos)
Previous: [[The Blacklist S1 Episode 5 (The Courier]] - Next: [[The Blacklist S1 Episode 7 (Frederick Barnes)]]
*(Spoilers)*
Dirty car bombs! An accomplished "corporate terrorist" is out to blow up some stuff and spread radioactive havoc. It's all about the havoc on The Blacklist!
Meanwhile, after her chat with Tom about the mystery money-and-murder box, Liz decides to turn him in, in the hope he'll be found innocent. Or not! He gets a tour of Liz's work (*surprise, I work in a secret dingy warehouse!*) and an uncomfortable few hours with Malik, but not *that* uncomfortable as she opts not to use torture in this interrogation.
Gina the corporate terrorist beats up Ressler in a lift, but leaves her phone behind allowing various investigation to proceed. Later she beats up Liz too but is eventually caught and convinced to give up some info.
"Meanwhile with Tom" proceeds with some is-he-isn't-he tension over mistaken identities, a photo planted (or was it?) with the terrorist implying that he's her secret lover, and the eventual discovery (yep that was the bit of info) that Reddington was behind things again probably. Or at least his henchman did a fake job interview with Tom, retrospectively spoiling a romantic weekend.
Ressler stunt-drives the radioactive bomb car into the harbour saving the port, the city and more importantly the large corporation, Liz tells Reddington he's annoying and goes home with Tom to make up, and the bored surveillance folks watching their live home videos wonder who (if not Reddington) Tom is actually working for.
Which suggests both that he *is* in fact working as more than a teacher, and also that these folks probably not working for Reddington either, so can expect further complications later.
**Themes:**
- Radioactive materials! Dirty bombs!
- Do the right thing by turning your partner in.
- People don't like it when you put them through unnecessary interviews.
## New characters
- The surveillance folks: **Apple Man** and his bored colleague.
