A group of pseudo-revolutionary types are posting stuff on the internet with one of those cheesy voice-changer things and ranting about billionaires and corporations, calling themselves General Ludd. They blow up another plane at the airport, narrowly ahead of Liz and friends in the black cars. Meanwhile, Liz's dad is in hospital. He says it's just for tests, but Reddington (better informed as usual) says it's serious and Liz should pop over. Tom says the same and books some flights. The Luddites are aiming to mess with the airlines for a childhood vendetta. No wait to destroy the financial system. No wait just to ground the planes so some money has to travel by truck and can be stolen. No wait they're giving the money to the people. Reddington visits Liz's dad, and it appears he may have given him Liz as a child to raise as his own! They have a nice heart-to-heart about how well she's doing. But this must be kept secret. Turns out the van plot was all to steal a hard disk, and Reddington is only too happy to steal it again for his own use then turn in the havocmaker. Reddington has a long chat with Tom near the hospital, but Tom has no idea who he is so it's kinda odd. It's frankly impressive that Liz hasn't disclosed anything about the person who set up her husband's fake job interview murder scene framing. Along the way, Reddington has negotiated access to an FBI database, "ViCAPS", in exchange for helping with this case that he claimed not to care about. He uses it to look up the number from [[The Blacklist S1 Episode 3 (Wujing)]], which shows a criminal profile of a young woman rather like the one in his backyard memory in [[The Blacklist S1 Episode 7 (Frederick Barnes)]]. **Themes:** - Anti-capitalist revolutionaries turn out to be just out for money too - Random suburban artists can print counterfeit money in a backyard studio, they just need the original artwork - Hospital pillows are uncomfortable but a hug will make the patient feel better - Reddington likes to watch from the shadows - A communication style that is fitting in fine restaurants or dark rooms becomes most creepy and awkward when deployed during impromptu foodtruck coffee date slash bereavement counselling session. ## New characters - Sam, Liz's father - Mysterious criminal girl
