A logic / reasoning guessing game.
The "master" invents a secret **Rule** (about the relationship between geometric pieces), and creates a matching and a non-matching "koan" example, by placing several pieces on the table, marking the two accordingly "Yes" and "No" with **a black or white stone**.
The **Pieces** are any collection with various different shapes, sizes and colours and markings.
The **Relationships** or **Attributes** that the Rule deals with are things like: colour, shape, size, orientation, relative position, markings, cardinality, or more, entirely at the discretion of the players' creativity.
The players ("students") must then try to guess the Rule. They do this by creating their own attempted koan, then choosing to call:
- *Master* - in which case the master marks their koan as Yes or No. (To gain more examples.)
- *Mondo* - in which case the student guesses Yes or No, and the master tells them if they were right (e.g. by both players revealing a white or black stone simultaneously). If they were correct, they gain a **Guessing Stone** - credit to take a guess at what the Rule is.
After each turn, if a student has a Guessing Stone they can verbally guess what they think the rule is. If they are correct, they win. If not, the master *may* build an example koan that matches the master's rule but not the student's guess.
